London, February 27 : Cheryl Cole has reportedly given in to cheating husband Ashley’s barrage of text messages and decided to meet him.

The Girls Aloud star announced their separation after the soccer ace was alleged to have cheated on her with four other women, in addition to exchanging racy text messages and photos with another girl.

The Chelsea footballer was said to have continued bombarding the singer with pleas to give him a chance and save their four-year marriage.

“Ashley has been texting her non-stop and Cheryl has tentatively agreed to see him,” The Mirror quoted a source as saying.

The source added: “Cheryl’s really in two minds about what to do but she believes it is right they should meet like adults to discuss what’s happened. She can’t keep ignoring him forever.

“Her friends are worried he could still win her back. Even though she’s furious about the way he’s behaved, no one’s convinced she’s totally over him. At the moment she’s still quite hurt and confused.”

London, February 27 : Peter Andre has been getting intimate with a blonde topless model for the last three months while claiming to be single publicly, it has emerged.

Former Page 3 girl Maddy Ford, who became a make-up artist and stylist after her modelling career ended, was said to have confessed to the secret affair with the singer.

“How do you know? Please don’t tell anyone, he made me promise to keep it a secret. I am so scared it’s all going to come out and everyone will know. We’ve had to be really careful,” The Daily Star quoted her as saying.

A source close to Andre added: “It was just sex. They didn’t have a relationship. Peter always made it very clear to Maddy what it was. He’s a red-blooded male and has done nothing wrong.

“They met a handful of times and he is not and has not been in any kind of relationship with her. It was nothing like that.”

Andre was also said to have denied the alleged affair linking him to Maddy.

He said: “She’s not my girlfriend, she’s my stylist. The reason there are whispers is because of the way she looks and people jump to conclusions. Most stylists are quite attractive, to be fair, and it’s really hard to avoid being linked to them.”

Cole, Tess Daly and Nordegren have gone up in the estimation of the UK’s men after the behaviour of Ashley Cole, Vernon Kay and Tiger Woods respectively became public.

All three have received a raft of new votes in FHM Magazine’’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll, reports The Mirror.

Girls Aloud’s Cheryl nearly doubled her votes this week following the announcement that the singer is to separate from husband Ashley.

TV host Tess Daly also received more votes, taking her into the top 50. She is reported to have forgiven hubby Vernon for sending sexy texts to glamour model Rhian Sugden.

She’s joined in an upsurge in popularity by blonde Swedish beauty Erin, who golf superstar better half Woods categorically denies she hit him with a golf club when she found out he’d been playing around earlier this year.

Erin is said to have jetted off to an unknown location after he begged for forgiveness live on American TV last week.

London, Feb 27 : Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson and lover Kristen Stewart recently enjoyed a cheesy date in Putney, South London.

The actor took Stewart to the Half Moon pub to see his sister Lizzie support South African singer Arno Carstens, reports The Mirror.

And, according to sources, Robert was spotted feeding Stewart cheese and onion crisps.

An onlooker said: “It was very sweet.”

Melbourne, Feb 27 : ‘Poker Face’ singer Lady Gaga has revealed how an ex-boyfriend of hers had told her that she would not amount to anything as a pop singer.

Gaga, 23, real name Stefani Germanotta, has had enormous chart success since she launched her career last year.

“I had a boyfriend who told me I’d never succeed, never be nominated for a Grammy, never have a hit song, and that he hoped I’d fail,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as telling America’s Cosmopolitan magazine.

“I said to him, ‘Someday, when we’re not together, you won’t be able to order a cup of coffee at the f***ing deli without hearing or seeing me’,” she added.

London, Feb 27 : Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp has nothing but praise for his co-star Angelina Jolie.

The two are starring together in the movie ‘The Tourist’, but Depp revealed that he was very impressed with her.

“I had never met Angelina before, but I found her to be a real treat, I mean a real doll,” the Mirror quoted him as saying.

“She is a nice woman, serious about what she does and loves her man and loves her kids. I was very impressed,” he added.

London, Feb 27 : Supermodel Naomi Campbell, who is at the forefront of the Fashion for Relief campaign to help Haiti, has spoken out on how she learnt to use her fame to help others.

Campbell, 39, said Nelson Mandela told her in 1992 that she should use her celebrity status to help others but “at 22 years old I didn’t really quite understand what that meant”.

The model said she had “quietly” worked with charities for many years and only supported causes she felt passionate about.

“My whole generation of girls, we never thought about celebrity, didn’t enter our vocabulary. We just liked our jobs, liked working, liked travelling the world,” the Mirror quoted her as saying.

London, Feb 27 : Daniel Radcliffe has filmed a public service announcement for The Trevor Project, an organization devoted to suicide prevention among gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered youth.

The Harry Potter star said that he grew up among many homosexuals.

“I grew up knowing a lot of gay men and it was never something that I even thought twice about — that some men were gay and some weren”t,” the Mirror quoted him as saying.

He added: “And then I went to school and (for) the first time … I came across homophobia. I had never encountered it before. It shocked me.

“I have always hated anybody who is not tolerant of gay men or lesbians or bisexuals.

“I have described myself as being ”gently eccentric” and slightly different as a person just because I”ve had a very different set of influences growing up than anybody else in my peer group did.

“I think it’’s important for somebody from a big, commercial movie series like Harry Potter and particularly because I am not gay or bisexual or transgendered. … The fact that I am straight makes not a difference, but it shows that straight people are incredibly interested and care a lot about this as well.”

The Trevor Project was founded in 1998 by three filmmakers.

Their movie, ‘Trevor’, about a gay teen who attempts suicide, won an Academy Award for best short film.

London, Feb 27 : Harrison Ford has no problem playing roles true to his age.

The ‘Indiana Jones’ actor stars as a disgruntled scientist Robert Stonehill in new film ‘Extraordinary Measures’.

“When it comes to options – I”m 67-years-old. The option is to play those things that are age-appropriate,” Sky News quoted him as saying.

He added: “That’’s just a demographic reality of the business. I”m clearly not 35 anymore. I haven”t been 35 for a long time. That’’s ok.

“It’’s always been my ambition and my understanding that whatever the state of the movie business is, the key is being useful.

“It means being useful to work, useful to the process, useful as an actor – not a pain in the ass.”

Referring to his upcoming film, he said: “What’’s interesting about Stonehill is that he is the very definition of unlikable – almost callous.

“For me, especially with the age range of characters I can play, it’’s a worthwhile investment of my time.

“I can continue to feed opportunistically and find things to do. I have a film coming out in July [the romantic comedy Morning Glory] that [I] had nothing to do with.”

New York, Feb 25 : Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez has been revealed to have been dropped by Epic Records following the flop of her two recent singles, “Louboutins” and “Fresh Out of the Oven” on the Billboard charts.

Lopez’s manager, Benny Medina, had claimed that the 40-year-old had not wanted to renew her contract and that it had been a mutual decision not to re-sign.

“Jennifer had a wonderful relationship with the Sony Music group and they have shared many successes together,” the New York Daily News quoted him as saying.

“But the time was right to make a change that best serves the direction of her career as an actress and recording artist,” he said.

But a source has revealed that Epic/Sony was not willing to continue its association with Lopez.

“Jennifer hasn’t been on top of her game for a while,” a source said.

But the singer is not taking the bad news sitting down, and as per a music industry insider she may try to release the album online, now that Epic has shelved it.

“Epic technically owns the material from her album, so she needs to buy it back from them to have control over it,” the source said.

“But she’ll try to release the album online if need be. It may be her last resort to take control of a poor situation,” the source added.
